The Centre for Irish Language receives enquiries on a daily basis about the availability of TEG-based Irish language courses throughout Ireland and abroad and we aim to keep our database of course providers as precise and up-to-date as possible.
With thanks to COGG, second-level schools around Ireland can now apply for Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge exams at a reduced rate (reduced from €80 to €40 per student) in the 2015/16 school year.
The registration deadline for TEG 2015 exams has been extended to Wednesday, 25 March.
Changes to Meánleibhéal 2 (B2) Exam - Scríbhneoireacht agus Úsáid na Gaeilge
The Public Appointments Service, following its recent recruitment campaign for Executive Officers in the Public Service, has announced that candidates hoping to be considered for inclusion in the Specialist Irish Language Stream must undergo Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge written and oral exams at Meánleibhéal 2 (B2).
European Certificates in Irish (TEG) were awarded to 19 people at a presentation ceremony in Kerry County Council last week. Over 100 staff members of the Council have now completed and passed TEG examinations. For the first time this year, certificates were also awarded to tenants in or awaiting social housing in the Kerry Gaeltachtaí. More information.
