Institutions of Education around Ireland will be accepting applications shortly for the Professional Master in Education (PME - Primary Teaching), due to commence in September 2022.
As part of the entry process, applicants are required to take the Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge (TEG) Meánleibhéal 1 (B1) oral exam and must achieve 65% or higher in this oral exam to satisfy entry requirements.
The exams will be run in centres on the 21 & 22 January and on the 4 & 5 February 2022. Further information, sample exam papers and the application form are available here.
Based on the ongoing Covid situation, the decision has been made today, 4 January 2022, to hold the TEG oral exams for prospective PME candidates online. Candidates will be sent all relevant details regarding the administration of the online exams in due course. Please note that registration is open until 5pm on Thursday, 6 January.
