    • Hearing impairment
    • Speech impairment

    • Braille papers
    • Individual room
    • Additional time
    • Additional breaks
    • Exam on a computer
    • Reader
    • Scribe
    • Grammar & spelling waiver
    • Larger font size

It is also possible to request additional requirements for the oral exam. Each case will be assessed as it arises.

What should I do if I have an additional requirement?

    • Candidates should outline any additional requirements you have on the application form when applying for your exam.
    • Additionally, candidates must send the official supporting documentation (for example, an official letter from the State Examinations Commission, outlining the supports you receive in an exam context) by email to teg@mu.ie at least three weeks before your exam.
    • The documentation should provide clear guidance regarding the additional supports required by the candidate.
    • It is up to the candidate to contact TEG if there is any clarification to be made regarding the guidance given in the official documentation.
    • After that, every effort will be made to accommodate the candidate, and they will be kept informed of the arrangements.
    • If we don’t receive all the necessary information and official documentation three weeks prior to the exam, we cannot guarantee that candidates with additional requirements will be accommodated accordingly.
    • Please note that candidates must provide the required information and official documentation each time they sit a TEG exam.
