There are also guidelines for candidates with regard to applying for the examinations and details regarding procedure on the day of the examination itself.

In this section of the website also, there is some helpful advice for teachers with learners in their class who wish to apply for the examinations. For example, advice is given on the kind of classroom activities and methodology appropriate as a preparation for the examinations.

For the benefit of employers, an outline is given of the standard of Irish one can expect from learners who have been successful in gaining a teg certificate at a particular level.

TEG Examination Reports (Bonnleibhéal 1 – Meánleibhéal 2) are now available.
