teg examinations are currently available at five levels: Absolute Beginners (A1), Beginners 2 (A2), Lower Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2), and Advanced 1 (C1). A further level, Advanced 2 (C2) is in the process of development. The table below indicates the way in which the syllabi and examinations in the Irish language fall within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching and Assessment (Council of Europe, 2001).
